8/4/2008 - Spungewurthy to headline Tippecanoe HarvestFest 2008

The Downtown Tipp City Partnership will be hosting Tippecanoe HarvestFest ’08 on October 25 from 7 to 11pm. Tippecanoe HarvestFest is an over-21 outdoor Halloween Party featuring hometown food, adult beverages, a costume contest and the music of local favorite, Spungewurthy. The festival will held at the corner of 2nd and Main Streets in downtown Tipp City.

Last year’s inaugural event was a huge success entertaining over 300 people dressed in their favorite Halloween attire filling the street with great music and fun. This year’s festival will again feature local band, Spungewurthy. Believe us, they really know how to entertain the crowd.

A costume contest will award prizes for several categories including scariest, most creative and best group. The festival will cap off a month full of events coordinated with Tipp-Monroe Community Services including a downtown building decorating contest and the Children’s Halloween Parade.

Don’t be scared…come out and enjoy the fun !
